Dreaming Unreasonably

La Tragedia de Macario: Inspired by a real incident in which 19 illegal immigrants died a similar death, La Tragedia de Macario takes one of the great issues of our time and makes it human in scale. - Ray Greene, Boxoffice Magazine
- When his native town of Sabinas Hidalgo can no longer provide more than nightly beans and tortillas, Mexican peasant worker Macario finds himself uncontrollably drawn to thoughts of crossing the border to provide a better life for his family. His struggle worsens by the loss of his job as a ranch hand and he can no longer wait. Macario and his best friend set out on the dangerous journey north, guided by faith, determination and a watchful holy eye.
- Currently, the company has completed their new film CARTONEO Y NOPALITOS.
- Fun Fact: La Tragedia de Macatio was made for under 7,000 dollars, shot in 4.5 days, and written in 8 hours. That... is dreaming unreasonably.
